About this training

This workshop is for people who have limited or no prior experience of the national framework for preventing violence against women. It is the foundational and entry-level training program for Change the story: A shared framework for preventing violence against women.

The training provides an overview of Change the story, covering:

  • what is violence against women (the problem)
  • a primary prevention approach to violence against women (the solution)
  • an overview of the primary prevention landscape in Australia to support learners to identify where they fit and what further information and support they need (my role).

Queensland Multicultural Centre, 102 Main Street, Kangaroo Point

Cost

Our Watch workshops are delivered free of charge and booked through Humanitix.

We have a minimum 72 hour cancellation period. This training is free, and your place will be made available to another person on the waitlist.
