Craig Rigney is the CEO of KWY Aboriginal Corporation and a proud Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri man born in Gawler, SA. Craig is dedicated to eliminating all forms of violence against women and children and stemming the flow of Aboriginal children and families into the child protection systems.
Craig has worked in, led, and grown KWY for 14 years. KWY has been providing holistic culturally endorsed complex case management services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families. KWY was also the lead cultural and specialist trainer and consultant for the South Australian Homelessness and Domestic Violence sector during this time.
Drew Hanger (he/him) is the Manager of Prevention in Education at The Men’s Project, Jesuit Social Services where he leads work with schools, teachers, students and parents on healthy masculinities and the reduction of violence and other harmful behaviours.
Drew is leading a team to deliver the Modelling of Respect and Equality (MoRE) program in 240 schools over the next four years. Before joining Jesuit Social Services, he worked as a secondary school teacher and student wellbeing coordinator overseeing respectful relationship programs. Drew holds a BA in Sociology and Literature and a Graduate Diploma in Education.
Jackson Fairchild (they/them) is a gendered and family violence prevention leader and strategic consultant at Jackson Fairchild Consulting. They are one of Australia's leading voices in gendered violence prevention.
They are queer and genderqueer and have lived experience of family violence. They also are a qualified counsellor and clinical supervisor with a background in leading services for men and for LGBTIQA+ communities. Jackson has held senior roles at the Zoe Belle Gender Collective, Rainbow Health Australia, No To Violence and Thorne Harbour Health. For more about their work visit jacksonfairchild.com.
Natalie Russell (she/her) is a prevention practitioner at Our Watch with over 20 years experience in public health and health promotion and has worked within local and state government, community health, and various non-profit and statutory organisations both nationally and internationally.
Drawing from her lived experience as a victim/survivor of family and domestic violence, Natalie has dedicated the past 12 years to preventing men's violence against women, promoting gender equality, and fostering healthier masculinities. At VicHealth, Natalie led the development of the Healthier Maculinities Framework for Gender Equality and the Framing Gender Equality and Masculinity message guides in partnership with a number of experts. She is slightly obsessed with utilising values-based messaging to effectively convey primary prevention messages.
